A Fragment of Time

Yes, you need a drumstick to play drums, any kind of drums in general. There are a lot of variations from sticks to mallets to brushes to rutes, etc. What do you prefer?

But anyway, do you still remember the first drumstick you had? Like the first one you owned? I do. And I still have it.

Yeah, those sticks are kinda worn out, bent due to physical conditions and old, obviously. The sticks still play well if you'd ask me. I had it since second grade, I guess, and it's been with me since. I used this pair of sticks for playing with a marching band at school and it lasted till college. Like a trustee old steed. I already have new drumsticks and been using them too. This pair is stored on my stash. I can still remember the joy playing with this pair back when I was just a little drummer boy. Ahhh, memories.

 I have no plans of throwing them away. These guys have been part of my life. I never really thought that I'd pursue being a drummer since I've been on bands playing guitars and bass.

I don't know what other things I could get as life goes on. But for sure, I'll keep these.
